is it true that "TRUTH" doesnt hurt?? (just my opinion)

is it true? i mean, i dont think its a fact!!! well, it IS a FACT BUT, most people prefer LIES MORE than a TRUTH. WHY??? because they dont wanna their love ones to be hurt or they just let them find out by themselves. its great hearing words from chris crocker's video, its really inspired and strong video BUT, why people always tell lies? why lies must have in a relationship?? so, for me.. truth can be hurtful, so does lies and there never be honesty in relationships if theyre not being honest with each other.

for example, when someone tells you that he/she cant go out with you for lunch due to school/work maybe. he/she might accept their lover's lil excuse just because the lover trusts you fully. then, after a while, he/she appears to be in your classroom/office to send you lunch, but eventually, he/she sees you with another guy/girl and having lunch together. when the lover finds out that he/she lies to them, they feel heartbroken, pain, anger - all these feelings mixed together into 1 in their inner soul like grapes & carrots equal SOUR. well, as she (chris crocker) said, "truth never hurts, truth heals" - it never heals. once it hurts, it takes time to heal the pain inside of you.
